Unitron’s Open-Fit Moxi Hearing Aid General Overview

The Unitron Moxi hearing aids are a series of sophisticated hearing devices with a sleek design. Available in a wide variety of unique colors, the open-fit CRT (Canal Receiver Technology) Moxi hearing aids deliver natural sound, and exceptional speech clarity. These advanced hearing devices are available in four different performance levels, with the Moxi Pro, Moxi 20, Moxi 12, and Moxi 6. Each performance level comes with a wide range of advanced technology, and even the simplest of the series, the Moxi 6, is a high-quality, innovative digital hearing aid. The hearing aids’ features will vary some between performance levels, and their respective features are listed below:

Features of the Unitron Moxi Pro include:

  • Automatic Program with Smart Focus: This technology automatically adjusts the user’s hearing aid’s settings to provide users with the best hearing possible. With 4 different listening environments, users are provided with better speech hearing and understanding, and reduced unwanted background noise.
  • SpeechZone: This feature automatically activates the hearing aid’s maximum directionality, helping users focus on speech, even in the noisiest environments. This can help make in-noise conversations much easier.
  • Self Learning: This advanced technology allows the Moxi Pro hearing aid to gradually learn the user’s situational listening preferences, and automatically apply them.
  • LearnNow: This feature allows users to instantly teach his or her hearing aid their loudness, comfort, and clarity preferences across a variety of listening situations.
  • Pinna Effect: When people lose their hearing, sometimes they lose the ability to pinpoint sounds in their environment. With the Moxi Pro hearing aid, the device automatically corrects for the location of the hearing aid’s microphones, allowing for easier sound location.
  • Binaural Phone: This convenient features helps make conversations on the phone easier, as the hearing aid wearer’s conversations can be heard in both hearing aids at the same time.
  • Natural Sound Balance: This feature constantly monitors and adjusts the user’s hearing aid settings to preserve its natural sound quality in a variety of listening environments. This allows for seamless transition between varied sound environments.
  • DuoLink: This feature allows users to wirelessly adjust multiple hearing devices at the same time, just by adjusting one of his or her hearing devices.
  • Directional Microphone: Directional microphones help improve the user’s in-noise speech understanding by focusing on speech sounds in front of the user, and reducing sounds to their side and rear.
  • Feedback Manager: This feature automatically eliminates the annoying whistling that can occur with some hearing aids before the user is even aware it is happening. It can help eliminate the feedback that can sometimes occur while talking on the phone, making the experience much more enjoyable.
  • AntiShock: This feature instantly reduces loud, impulsive sounds like glass breaking, a door slamming, or paper rustling.
  • Wind Noise Manager: This wind sound elimination technology allows hearing aid wearers to more fully enjoy the outdoors, by keeping the sound of wind in the user’s hearing aids from getting overwhelming.
  • Data Logging: This feature automatically tracks the user’s hearing aid’s use to help guide its adjustments at follow-up appointments with a hearing professional.
  • IntelliVent: The Moxi hearing aids feature a customized venting process that helps make the devices more comfortable, while helping maintain the sound quality of the user’s own voice.
  • MyMusic: This feature allows users to enhance their music listening experience by allowing them to customize their hearing aid’s settings for the best sound quality possible.
  • Easy-t: This feature automatically detects when the user is on the telephone, and switches to the device’s telephone program, helping make phone conversations much easier to hear.
