Oticon’s High-Performance Receiver-In-The-Ear Intiga Hearing Aids

Updated November 3, 2016 – The Oticon Intiga hearing devices, are a series of very small, sleek, high performance Receiver-In-The-Ear (RITE) hearing devices. The Oticon hearing aids feature a high-speed sound processing chip, as well as wireless technology, to help the devices pinpoint sounds and voices in the user’s environment. Technology present in these devices also helps users ignore background noise, and focus his or her attention on what they need to. Available in three performance levels, and 13 different colors, the Oticon Intiga hearing aids can suit the needs and preferences of almost any user.

Features Of The Oticon Intiga 10 Hearing Aid
  • Speech Guard: This feature continuously and automatically evaluates the user’s incoming sound signals before they become amplified. This keeps users from becoming over-burdened with unimportant sounds from his or her listening environment.
  • Binaural Noise Management: This feature is designed to mimic the brain’s ability to focus attention on where to listen. This allows for easier in-noise conversations, as the devices automatically deliver noise reduction on the noisier side of the user.
  • Binaural Processing: This feature allows the Intiga hearing devices to act as one single processing unit, providing users with the best spatial awareness possible with binaural hearing instruments.
  • Binaural Synchronization: This feature ensures that the Intiga hearing aids’ program, directionality, and volume settings remain the same between each ear.
  • Binaural DFC: This Dynamic Feedback Cancellation technology helps eliminate the annoying whistling that can occur in hearing aids without this technology. This whistling can often occur on the phone, making phone conversations unpleasant. However, with the Intiga hearing aids, the feedback is eliminated, allowing for much more pleasant conversations.
  • Multi-Band Adaptive Directionality: This feature allows users to focus on what they want to, and ignore what they do not. It allows users to focus on speech sounds, and soften the sound of other background noise in the user’s environment.
  • Tri-Mode Directionality: Provides users with additional focusing ability in noisy environments.
  • TriState Noise Management: This noise-cancellation technology helps users enjoy their time in noisy environments, like a crowded restaurant or shopping center, by softening the sound of background noise. This can also help make conversations in these noisy environments easier, by allowing users to pay attention to speech sounds, rather than background noise.
  • Automatic Adaptation Manager: This feature adjusts the user’s hearing aid’s settings as the user’s listening environment changes. This eliminates the need for users to make numerous manual adjustments to his or her hearing aid.
  • Power Bass: This feature enhances the rich bass sound that is often lost with some open-fitting hearing aids, while also delivering a more harmonic low-frequency sound environment.
  • Music Widening: This feature produces a sense of space and realism to the user’s music by applying advanced reverberation research.
